A little about us.

We’re a locally owned rental housing business with properties that serve different needs in our communities.

Our portfolio includes long-term rentals, furnished mid-term rentals, and short-term accommodations. Some of our homes serve families looking for a place to settle in, while others provide furnished housing for professionals, workers, visitors, and people who may only need a home for a few weeks or months.

We try to manage our properties with a simple philosophy: take care of the property, communicate clearly, treat people fairly, and make decisions that allow us to be here for the long term.

We also believe a rental business is about more than collecting rent.

Every property creates work for local people and local businesses. We regularly hire plumbers, HVAC contractors, electricians, appliance repair technicians, cleaners, lawn-care providers, handymen, painters, construction contractors, and other service professionals.

Whenever possible, we like building relationships with dependable local vendors and giving repeat business to people who take pride in their work.

We’re continuing to improve our properties, improve our systems, and grow responsibly. Our goal isn’t simply to own more houses. It’s to build a strong, sustainable business that provides good housing, supports local businesses, and can continue serving our communities for many years to come.

🏡 HomeWise: Keeping Mice, Roaches & Other Pests Under Control

Mice, roaches, ants, and other household pests can occasionally find their way into almost any home. The key to preventing a small issue from becoming a larger one is making sure they don’t find a reason to stay.

Pests are looking for three basic things: food, water, and shelter. Taking those things away is the first line of defense.

🐭 If you see signs of a mouse:

An occasional mouse does not automatically mean there is a maintenance problem.

* Keep food and snacks in sealed containers.
* Clean crumbs and food debris from counters, floors, cabinets, and underneath appliances.
* Don’t leave pet food sitting out, especially overnight.
* Keep trash contained and remove it regularly.
* Reduce cardboard boxes, bags, and unnecessary clutter that provide hiding and nesting areas.
* Use inexpensive disposable mouse traps to address occasional mouse activity.

🪳 For roaches, ants and other insects:

* Don’t leave dirty dishes or open food sitting out overnight.
* Clean up crumbs, grease and spills.
* Keep pantry foods properly closed or sealed.
* Keep trash covered and remove it regularly.
* Clean underneath and around appliances where food debris can accumulate.
* Eliminate unnecessary standing water and moisture.
* Use appropriate household pest-control products when needed.

🏘️ If you live in a duplex or multi-unit property, this is especially important.

Mice and insects don’t know where one residence ends and another begins. Good housekeeping and pest prevention in each residence helps protect everyone in the building.

Pest treatments and traps can address pests that are already present, but they cannot replace good prevention. If pests continue to have easy access to food, water, trash, or hiding places, they are much more likely to remain or return.

🔧 When should you contact management?

Please report maintenance conditions that may be contributing to a pest problem, such as an active plumbing leak or a damaged area of the property that needs repair.

For ordinary household pest activity, residents should first use reasonable cleaning, prevention, and household pest-control measures. If those steps have been taken and you are still experiencing significant or continuing activity, then contact management so the situation can be evaluated.

Keeping pests under control works best when everyone does their part.

⚠️ Temporary Service Downtime

The City of Harrodsburg will be performing a major system upgrade from August 13 at 12:00 p.m. through August 17 at 12:00 p.m.

During this time, several customer services will be temporarily unavailable, including:
- Online utility payments
- In-person utility payments
- Utility account access and updates

While some payments (such as business licenses and taxes) can be accepted and processed once the new system is live, utility payments cannot be accepted during this downtime. If you normally make your payment during this period, please plan accordingly.

Water and wastewater service will not be interrupted.

We appreciate your patience as we complete this important upgrade, which will improve the City's financial, utility, and customer service systems.

Thank you for your understanding!
