It’s hard to believe this is our 4th Annual Gyro Lunch at The Oaks at Scenic View!

Every year, this is one of the events we look forward to most. As real estate agents, we have the privilege of helping families through some of life’s biggest transitions, and so often that journey connects us with the incredible staff at The Oaks. We’ve seen firsthand the kindness, patience, compassion, and genuine care that you show your residents every single day.

So this lunch is our small way of saying thank you.

Some days this job feels less like work and more like getting handed the keys to hidden pieces of heaven.

Yesterday Maria and I drove up to Clayton for a listing appointment on 21 breathtaking acres… and honestly, we just kept looking at each other saying, “Can you believe we get to do this for a living?”

A rushing creek runs the property on one side, with mountain and Lake Rabun views stretching for miles on the other side. We explored hiking trails leading to springs, waterfalls, ponds, and open meadows with long-range views that honestly didn’t even feel real. Watching boats drift across the lake while standing high above it in the mountains was one of those moments that makes you stop and take it all in.

We get so busy in real estate sometimes that it’s easy to forget how special this life really is. Yesterday reminded me.

Grateful for beautiful places, good people, and a career that lets us be part of stories like this every single day. ❤️
