🏡 Did you buy a home in 2019? Your mortgage rate may be worth revisiting.

Thousands of homeowners could face their first adjustable-rate mortgage (ARM) adjustment in 2026. For some, that could mean a significant change in their monthly payment.

📈 According to the figures cited from ICE Mortgage Technology, a seven-year ARM that started at 3% in 2019 with a $548,000 balance could see a median monthly payment increase of $1,080 at its first adjustment.

What should homeowners do?

✅ Check when your mortgage rate is scheduled to adjust.
✅ Review how a potential change could affect your monthly budget.
✅ Talk with your lender about your options before the adjustment date.
