This week I had the opportunity to preview the newly built Obama Presidential Center with my family.
It was an opportunity to teach my sons that racism isn't defeated by speeches or slogans. It's defeated by ordinary people making the right choice when the wrong choice would benefit them personally.
In real estate, fair housing isn't just a law... it's a principle. It reflects the belief that every person deserves equal access, equal treatment, and equal opportunity, regardless of who they are or where they come from.
Values are not something you display when convenient. They are something you defend when there's a price to pay.
If your principles disappear when money enters the conversation, they were never principles at all.
