🍽️ Join the Londonderry Team! 🍽️

We’re looking for a Kitchen Porter to join our Dining Team at Londonderry on the Tred Avon!

This is a part-time position, 20–24 hours per week, with pay ranging from $16–$18 per hour.

As a Kitchen Porter, you’ll play an important role in keeping our kitchen running smoothly. Responsibilities include:

• Maintaining food storage areas, including refrigerators and freezers
• Receiving and organizing deliveries
• Washing dishes, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment
• Cleaning and maintaining cooking equipment
• Assisting with basic food preparation
• Supporting our Chefs, Prep Cooks and Dining Team as needed

Culinary or kitchen experience is required.

If you’re dependable, hardworking, and enjoy being part of a team, we’d love to have you join Londonderry!

🦀 Crab Fest is one of our favorite Londonderry traditions! 🦀

This past Friday, our team gathered for our annual Team Crab Fest, and it was another wonderful afternoon filled with steamed crabs, great food, lots of laughter, and even better company!

This tradition is so special because it gives our team a chance to step away from the day-to-day and simply enjoy time together. We are incredibly grateful for the people who make Londonderry such a special place to call home and work.

Here’s to good friends, good food, Maryland crabs, and the amazing team that makes it all happen! 💙🦀

💙 Londonderry Gives Back: Supporting Talbot County Public Schools Care Closets 💙 County Public Schools

As we continue celebrating 35 Years of Giving Back, our September Giving Back Spotlight is focused on the Talbot County Public Schools Care Closets.

Care Closets provide local students with essential everyday items they may need throughout the school year, including personal hygiene products, clothing, snacks, and household necessities. These resources help students feel comfortable, confident, cared for, and ready to learn.

This September, we’re inviting our Londonderry residents and team members to help fill the Care Closets! 🧴🎒💙

Some of the current needs include:
🧼 Personal Care: Deodorant, chapstick, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, body wipes, lotion, hair brushes, hair ties, toothbrushes, toothpaste and dental floss
👕 Clothing: Children's underwear, shirts, sweatpants, sweatshirts, leggings and Crocs
🩷 Personal Items: Menstrual pads, panty liners, women's underwear and men's boxer briefs
🏠 Household Essentials: Laundry detergent, dish soap, dryer sheets, paper towels, toilet paper and cleaning wipes
🍎 Food & Snacks: Individual snack packs, granola bars and kid-friendly single-serve meals
💙 Other Needs: Reusable water bottles and travel-size personal care products

Every donation, no matter how small, can make a meaningful difference for a local student.

Let's come together as a Londonderry community and help make sure students across Talbot County have the essentials they need to feel supported and ready for success.
