Yes, rates went up today. No, it’s not the end of the world.

I've never once told a client "buy now because rates!" and I'm not starting today. The right time to buy is when it's the right time for YOU. Your budget, your life, your timeline. Rates go up, rates come down and refinancing exists. What doesn't come back? The house you loved that you talked yourself out of because a headline scared you.

And on the other hand for sellers, buyers are still out there! Nobody is casually touring during these interest hikes just for fun.
