The Oklahoma REALTORS庐, Oklahoma Housing Foundation and Edmond Board of REALTORS庐 have partnered with the REALTORS庐 Relief Foundation to provide grants up to $1,000 for Oklahomans in need. Each household impacted by the wildfires in the counties where Governor Stitt has declared a state of emergency, is eligible for a grant for reimbursement of a mortgage payment, a month鈥檚 rent, or the cost of alternative housing. All you need to do is apply! The deadline for application is June 2, 2025.
ABOUT THE GRANT
Assistance is available to qualified applicants towards one of the following options: (1) Monthly mortgage expense for the primary residence that was damaged by the fire disaster or; (2) Rental cost due to displacement from the primary residence resulting from the fire disaster or; (3) Hotel/Temporary Housing reimbursement due to displacement from the primary residence resulting from the fire disaster.
Please note: this assistance is for housing relief only; other expenses including second mortgages (home equity lines or loans), clothing, appliances, equipment, vehicle purchase, rental or repair, and or mileage are ineligible for reimbursement under this program.
Grant applicants will need to fill out the application, linked here. The application must include a REALTOR庐 sponsor as a point of contact.
In the application, applicants must provide: Photo Identification to Show Proof of Residency [i.e. driver's license or other governmental documentation evidencing residency]; Copy of Mortgage Statement or Rent Statement or Lease Agreement or Hotel/Temporary Housing Receipt.
One of the Following is Required to Show Proof of Damage to Primary Residence: Photos of Damages, Insurance Estimate, Copies of Written Claims, Settlement Proceeds or Claim Status Reports, or Copies of Repair Estimates from Contractors
