In our low inventory market, many deals are as-is…so, do you still need to do an inspection? YES! You need to know all about the home you are buying. If anything major comes up, you can cancel the contract before it is your home and your problem.

Will your agent be at your inspection? YES! Typically I recommend and book the best inspector, radon tester and sewer scope person for the area and type of home you are buying. In addition, I will be there the entire inspection to listen, ask questions and help asses what is a big deal and what isn’t.

Should you attend your inspection? YES!! If you are able to make it to your entire inspection that is best, but even coming towards the end to get the details, find out how things work, ask questions and see issues in person, is super.

Never pass up the opportunity to find out all you can about your new home, it can save your lots of money and headache!
