Thanks for the invite, Susan Mints Taylor ! It’s been a wild ride these past several weeks, but a friendly reminder from a friend who saved me a ticket and a seat is all I needed today.

The PT50 15x30 Platinum Top 50® - San Antonio event is one I never want to miss. It’s so inspiring to see how we all run our businesses with equal parts authenticity and grit — different niches, different perspectives, all in the same room trying to better serve our clients. Proud to be part of the 2026 class, and still very much a student in that room.

In a world full of noise, endless distracting programs and AI and whatever else pulls us in a million directions, where we feel like we have to be omnipresent in every space (and yes, we should be, in some capacity) — it’s more important than ever to be ourselves. Because no matter what you build with the help of all these “systems,” the person who shows up to meet your client is the person they’ll trust or fire. So just be YOU, as cliché as that sounds.

Fifteen million in real estate shown today — on a scratchy voice and whatever this Covid-ish thing is. Tonight I’m calling it: one beer, zero more offers written. I’m dead.

But here’s what stayed with me.

To the agents who take three days to answer, give halfa$& answers or never answer at all — this business belongs to the people who show up 💯. Today, one of the true icons of our industry opened his own listing for my buyers. Didn’t send an assistant. Showed up himself on a Sunday afternoon. Thirty minutes early, all lights on, every question answered with the most patience.

That’s not a small thing. That’s the whole thing.

Made it to Friday. One step closer to the closing table. And whatever this cold-slash-Covid-slash-Hill-Country situation is — it clearly did not check my calendar. 🤧

One more two-hour Zoom, one more offer to write, and then maybe — just maybe — I’ll go find some Tylenol.

Heels on anyway. Deal moving anyway. Smiling like I mean it, because I do.

Funny thing is, after all the moves and all the reinventions… it still feels like I’m just getting started. 🤍
