Today I stopped by in my gym clothes, coffee in hand, flowers on the seat next to me, to give my client a hug.
Not to talk about contracts.
Not to discuss negotiations.
Not to review timelines.
Just to be there.
Then I put a SOLD rider on her sign.🌷🏡
In a world that is becoming increasingly automated, I often hear people ask if AI will eventually replace Realtors.
My answer is simple.
Technology can provide information.
It can analyze data.
It can automate processes.
But it cannot sit across from someone who is overwhelmed and reassure them that everything is going to be okay.
It cannot celebrate with a family when they achieve a dream they thought was out of reach.
It cannot recognize when what a client really needs is not another email, but a phone call, a hug, a listening ear, or someone who genuinely cares.
Real estate has never been just about houses for me.
It’s about people. People doing the right thing when nobody is looking.
The privilege of being invited into one of the most important chapters of someone’s life.
The trust they place in me.
The relationships that continue long after the transaction is over.
The moments that never show up on a closing statement.
I’ve walked away from business opportunities and partnerships that didn’t feel aligned with my values, and I would do it again.
Because I didn’t choose this profession for the commissions.
I chose it because I believe people deserve to feel seen, heard, understood, and cared for.
The day AI can replace that is the day I’ll worry about my job.
Until then, I’ll keep showing up—with flowers, coffee, hugs, and a heart fully invested in the people I serve.
Love,
Cleo
