📢 Who wants to set up shop at my first Barky Bash event? It will be held in Union on July 18th from 11AM - 2PM. I would love to have some more small businesses. 🐶 If you can make anything dog related or bake anything dog related, I’d love to hear from you! Even stuff for the kiddos! I am also looking for non profits and rescue. 🐾 The event is open to EVERYONE and will be held in Ballyshannon 🐾 We will have Dreamy Whip, The Black Goose, Nourished Hounds and more!

📢 HOW HAVE SO MANY PEOPLE MISSED THIS PLACE?

I honestly can't believe how many people in Northern Kentucky don't know about That Special Gift in Burlington. 🛍️ Have You Been?

My mom and I have been shopping here since they opened 25 years ago, and it's still one of my favorite places to find unique gifts, home décor, candles, seasonal items, and fun dog mom finds. (Yes, I bought the Crazy Dog Mom hat and the DogFather hat from the video. 😂)

The Hidden Gem in Union, KY ☕️ 🪿 The Black Goose…

I’ll have to say, The Black Goose is one of those places that keeps surprising me every time I visit. One minute you’re ordering a coffee, and the next you’re walking out with a vintage find or something you didn’t even know you needed.

Located in what used to be Reeves Collision Center, it has become one of my favorite local spots in Northern Kentucky. They serve Deeper Roots Coffee, offer seasonal drinks and a drink of the day, carry pastries from local bakeries, and they’re dog-friendly… Bonus points from the dog mom. Next time I’ve got to bring my boys 🐶 🐶

And can we talk about that cute coffee trailer? 🤩 I’m so excited they’ll be joining us at my upcoming Dog Moms of NKY event.

Another taco place? 🌮 That's honestly what I thought.

I grew up in Union, Kentucky, and I still remember when there were horse farms everywhere you turned. So when Taco Mama - Union opened in Union Promenade, I wasn't exactly rushing to try it.

🤷🏼‍♀️ Well... I finally gave in.

I'll have to say, I was impressed.

It is casual, fun, and exactly what you want whether you're grabbing lunch, meeting friends, or enjoying the patio. I tried the Sizzler taco basket, and it was delicious 😋.

It's also another reminder of how much Union has grown over the years. Places like this are changing the area while still making it a great place to live, work and raise a family.
