Something about spring snowstorms...out in the fields far away from the city and the ground is already showing it's seasonal colors and the trees already have their leaves. The song birds have migrated here and know it will be a long shower so no need to hide, just sing along.
On my way out to a deal I have been working on in Briggsdale, Colorado. The three hour trek round trip is a nice break from the five closings, two listings going live and back on the market and another property under contract the week before. The home I am working on is not the million dollar property that some agents may only prefer but rather a tenth of that value. I won't make as much money on it, and I am so good with that because it is going to mean a lot to this 1920's house that needed a lot of care and happy to see someone do just that instead of knock down such history. It is going to mean so much to the buyers who have worked so hard on a process that very few agents and brokerages have witnessed, let alone a buyer, a 203k loan/transaction. And so off I drive in this lovely landscape and think of magic.
