🏗️ Project Update | General James Taylor Park

Progress continues along the Newport riverfront at the General James Taylor Park project.

This past week, crews advanced work on the plaza stairs, feature area, stadium seating and levee sidewalk.

With the Cincinnati skyline and Ohio River as the backdrop, the park is beginning to take shape. We’re proud to be part of a project that will create a new community destination along Newport’s riverfront.

In honor of the start of football season, we’re kicking things off with a shoutout to one of the biggest Bengals fans on the Hemmer team, Penny Knollman! Who Dey! 🧡🖤

Penny has been part of Paul Hemmer Company for more than 18 years, providing critical project coordination, administrative and logistical support across our construction operations. Her attention to detail, responsiveness and commitment to client service make her a trusted resource for our project managers, subcontractors and customers alike.

Over the years, Penny has supported major projects including OneNKY Center, Freestore Foodbank, Core5 Bourbon VII and LogistiCenter @ Airport West.

When she isn’t helping keep projects moving, there’s a pretty good chance she’s cheering on the orange and black.

🥛🍦 Proud to Build with a Greater Cincinnati Institution

Paul Hemmer Company is proud to partner with United Dairy Farmers on its new store and fueling station in Florence, Kentucky.

The project includes a 6,575-square-foot retail store, 5,800-square-foot fuel canopy, new parking, utilities, landscaping and stormwater infrastructure, all designed to support UDF’s full convenience retail operation.

For more than a century, Hemmer has been part of the Greater Cincinnati community, so it is especially rewarding to help another longstanding local brand continue to grow right here in Northern Kentucky.

Paul Hemmer Company partnered with Tractor Supply Company on approximately 23 stores across seven states, supporting the process from site selection and preliminary design through lease approval, construction and occupancy.

🏗️ Project Progress | Lindner Center of HOPE

The steel is up, the floors are taking shape, and progress continues at the Lindner Center of HOPE expansion in Mason, Ohio.

This 74,855-square-foot project will add new inpatient and therapeutic treatment spaces while expanding the specialized clinical infrastructure needed to support the Center’s behavioral health mission. Construction is being carefully coordinated around an active campus to maintain continuity of care throughout the project.

It’s exciting to see this important project continue to take shape, and we’re proud to be part of a team helping expand access to behavioral health care in our region.

🚧 Breaking Ground in Union! 🏥

Yesterday marked the official groundbreaking for The Christ Hospital Health Network’s new $16 million outpatient center in Union, Kentucky.

Paul Hemmer Company is proud to serve as the general contractor for the two-story, 32,000-square-foot facility, which will bring primary care, cardiology, women’s health and laboratory services closer to residents of Northern Kentucky.

Congratulations to The Christ Hospital and everyone involved in reaching this important milestone. We are excited to get to work and help bring this impactful project to life!

🚧 Breaking ground on a project that will make a lasting impact.

Today marked the official groundbreaking for improvements to General James Taylor Park in Newport, KY. The transformed riverfront park will feature expanded green space, new walking and biking paths, recreational amenities, a performance plaza, kayak access and a scenic overlook.

Paul Hemmer Company is proud to be part of a project that will strengthen the riverfront, connect the community and create a welcoming public space for generations to come.
