If you haven't been to Oakbrook Bakery in Florence yet, I need you to stop what you're doing and go. Like now. Like today.
Jumbo homemade donuts that are fluffy, fresh, and absolutely unreal. 😅 The kind where you take one bite and immediately start planning your next trip back.
The owner has 40 years of baking experience and it shows in every single bite. This is a family owned NKY gem that has been quietly winning over this community for years — and they deserve every bit of their flowers.
Pro tip: get there early. The line goes out the door during peak hours and the good stuff goes fast. Worth every single minute of the wait though. 💙

Fast close. No showings. Rent back while you find your next home. It sounds like the dream.
But here’s a real example from a conversation I had recently:
A homeowner could sell on the market for $400K.
The best cash offer on the table? $335K net after fees.
And that’s not even the whole story — most of these investors only pay out around 75% at closing. The rest comes after THEY resell your home. So you’re waiting on your own equity. 👀
Oh, and those offers? Still subject to inspections AND appraisals. Meaning they can — and often do — come back and lower the number.

This is 30. 💙

It will be watching my big kid walk into kindergarten and trying not to ugly cry. It will be celebrating my baby's first birthday and wondering how that's even possible.
It's early mornings at the gym and late nights that still feel worth it. It's finding a new hobby with my husband, loud dinners with friends, and a career I'm genuinely proud of.
It's not perfect. It's full.
I didn't expect 30 to feel this grounded — but I'm so grateful it does. Grateful for the chaos, the people, the season we're in.
Thank you so much to all of the wonderful people who have celebrated this milestone with me. Here's to many more!!
