We did it! We were able to make it to every store to collect our product and store fixtures. And when we logged in, we saw soooooo many new followers. Thank you!

We will take a few days to unwind after our whirlwind tour of 1421 miles logged. We traveled from Fort Wayne to Lewis Center Ohio to Cincinnati Ohio to Crestview Hills Kentucky to Franklin Tennessee to Murfreesboro Tennessee to Bloomington Illinois to Kildeer Illinois.

We are excited for our next steps, for now we can share we will be in the The Rustic Fox - North Aurora, IL soon. It's a beautiful store and we are so thankful they welcomed us with open arms. The vendors are all top notch, we might have to elevate our game!

We cleared store 4 of 8 stores. 4 more to go. As a small business, we like many, many others have been in beast mode trying to recover what we can before the doors are locked.

We can believe the overwhelming help friends, fellow vendors, store employees, and some complete strangers have given us. PT had something special unlike anything I’ve ever seen in business. It’s unfortunate the private equity firm was too far removed to see it.

We will all survive and be stronger from this experience. We have made lifelong friends from our time at PT and this they can’t rip away from us.

To those customers that have reached out to us, thank you! We love each and every one of you. Please be sure to follow us on FB and IG. And remember most of our amazing (if we do say so ourselves!) products are available online. The rest will be added when we can breathe again.

Be sure to sign up for updates on our website too. We are planning some fun things during the hours driving in our 16’ box truck across the Midwest!

Today, Painted Tree Boutiques officially closed its doors and filed for bankruptcy. Like so many small businesses, our Home Mercantile booths were part of that world—and it’s hard to see that chapter come to an end.

We’ll miss the conversations while we stocked our shelves, the last-minute gift grabs, and being part of your everyday moments.

But here’s the good news… we’re still here 🤍

Home Mercantile is alive and well online, and we’ve poured everything into making it easy for you to shop the same thoughtful, giftable pieces you’ve come to love.
