I’m pleased to announce that Walton County has received nearly 8 million dollars in state funding through Florida’s FY 2026–27 State Budget for several important local projects.
This year’s appropriations include:
👉North Walton Doctors Hospital : Breast Screening and Treatment Program - $400,000
👉Seacoast Collegiate High School Dual Enrollment and Workforce Center Expansion - $750,000
👉DeFuniak Springs Effluent Force Main Replacement - $1,000,000
👉Freeport : CR-3280 Water Storage Tank and Well - $500,000
👉Freeport : Marquis Way East Connector Road and Sewer Expansion - $1,000,000
👉SAFE in the Panhandle : Emergency Safe Home - $487,000
👉Walton County : NWFL Regional Agriculture Education Complex - $300,000
👉Walton County : Hewett Bay Connector - $2,000,000
👉NWFL State College : South Walton Center Hospitality Program - $1,500,000
