โ˜•๏ธ COMING SOON TO GILBERT: is coming to the Fryโ€™s plaza on the southwest corner of Baseline and Gilbert.

Interestingly, this is the same site where Angieโ€™s Prime Grill announced plans to build approximately four years ago, but that location never moved forward.

7 Brew is known for its highly customizable coffee, energy drinks, teas, lemonades, smoothies and shakes. No opening date has been announced yet, but weโ€™ll keep you updated as the project progresses.

Are you excited for 7 Brew, or would you have preferred Angieโ€™s Prime Grill? ๐Ÿ‘‡

UPDATE: Just one day after Salad and Go announced it was closing all remaining locations, court filings reveal that Dutch Bros is looking to take over many of the former drive-thru sites.

The company behind Dutch Bros has agreed to a $105 million deal that includes 51 locations in Arizona and Nevada, along with additional leases in Texas and Oklahoma.

The former Salad and Go buildings would be converted into Dutch Bros locations serving coffee, beverages and food. The sale still needs approval from a federal bankruptcy judge before it becomes official.

Salad and Go, which started right here in Gilbert in 2013, served its final customers today.

Would you rather have Salad and Go back or another Dutch Bros? โ˜•๏ธ๐Ÿฅ—

๐Ÿฅ— End of an Arizona Original

Sad news for Arizona.

Employees were informed today that Salad and Go , the drive-thru salad chain founded in Gilbert in 2013, is permanently closing all of its locations after filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy. The company says its final day of service will be Wednesday.

What started as a single location in Gilbert grew into a popular brand with locations across Arizona and Nevada, becoming a go-to spot for affordable salads, wraps, breakfast burritos, and lemonades.

The company cited ongoing financial challenges, slowing consumer demand, rising costs, and industry headwinds as reasons for the closure.

REAL ESTATE: Former Advance Auto Parts Building Sells for $3.2 Million. The 32,224-square-foot property on Higley and Queen Creek has officially sold for $3.2 million.

The space was previously expected to become an arcade, but those plans were ultimately canceled. The new owners are New Jersey-based real estate investors and entrepreneurs who also own the majority of the buildings within the surrounding plaza.

Current plans are to bring a dance studio tenant into the space. Zach Pace at Phoenix Commercial Advisors represented the sale as the listing agent.
