Today marks 25 years since September 11. A day I’ll never forget, living in NYC, preparing to fly home for our wedding that Saturday. As we pause to honor the lives lost and the heroes who stood strong, this milestone uniquely coincides with the beginning of Rosh Hashanah. In Jewish tradition, the New Year is called the “Day of Remembrance”—a powerful reminder to look back with reverence while moving forward with hope and renewal. 🕊️

Just closed in Glencoe!

I’m so excited for my buyers who officially closed on this beautiful home at 908 Elm Place for $2,040,000.

This was truly an international transaction and a lesson in teamwork and patience. Negotiations unfolded across three continents, with the sellers in Ireland, my buyers in Australia, and the brokers here in Glencoe. I’ve been staring at my screen trying to find the words for this post. The post I’ve dreaded writing ever since my mom got sick several years ago. If you had the good fortune of knowing Mary-Bob Mathews Rubenstein you smile remembering how good it felt to be near her. How intently she listened, how genuinely interested she was in knowing you and how quick witted and utterly charming she was. She was kind, creative, generous, loyal, selfless, and the most fun, magnetic and loving person around. Lucky for my brothers and me, we got to grow up basking in her light, only to watch it shine even brighter on our kids. I’m grateful for every piece of advice, every hug, every funny story she told and will spend the rest of my days trying to make her proud. Rest easy Mom, I’ll love you forever ✨💕🪽
