The final layer matters.

A Parade home can be beautifully built, thoughtfully designed and completely finished… but staging is what brings the whole vision together.

It’s the layer that adds scale, warmth and intention. The part that makes you want to stay a little longer.

A little Parade inspiration while we head into another season of homes worth seeing.

This Kalamazoo Parade home was a favorite. Warm woods, rich contrast, collected layers and just enough restraint to let the architecture and finishes have their moment.

Parade homes are some of my favorite projects to style. There’s so much thought that goes into every detail, and getting to come in at the end and pull that final layer together is something I genuinely love.

Turns out the “effortless” look takes 15 hours of prep, 50 pieces of furniture, 30 pillows and a truck and a half.

The 2 Red Bulls still feels wildly underprepared lol.

This was a BIG one. A $1.3M home and one of those installs where every room just kept getting better.

And she sold. 🤌🏼

Million dollar homes aren’t new around here, but I’ll never get over seeing a house completely come to life after staging.

Really thoughtful design, really freaking good staging and a whole lot happening behind those pretty listing photos.

Apparently I have a few staging opinions. Shocking.

But underneath the cheekiness, I actually care about this stuff.

Staging is part of the marketing, and I think it deserves the same thought you put into everything else when bringing a home to market. The right pieces, the right scale, the right amount and a plan for how you want buyers to experience the house.

It doesn’t need to be complicated. It just needs to be intentional.

So yes, I have opinions. And apparently a list of things I think are kinda lame.

Thoughtful staging that actually does its job? Kinda chic
