Mansfield has been on my radar for years.
Not because a client led me there. Because I kept watching the infrastructure build around it, quietly and deliberately, the way the best communities always grow. Highways 360 and 287 meeting in the same corridor. Mansfield ISD expanding to keep pace with the families coming in. And then Somerset showing up and making it make sense.
If you are a DFW family shopping new construction right now, this one deserves a real look.
Somerset, Mansfield, TX. Ponds, hike-and-bike trails, parks, and a resort-style pool woven through a master-planned layout that actually feels like it was designed for people to live in, not just walk through on a Saturday tour. Multiple builders are active here, so you have real choice in the product and the build timeline.
Mansfield ISD has kept growing for years, and growing districts invest. That matters when you are planting roots.
What I tell every new construction family: the builder's contract is not written for you. Knowing what to ask, what to negotiate, and when to bring in your own lender rather than the one the builder points you toward, that is the difference between a good experience and a great one. My team and I have guided 1,425+ new construction transactions across DFW, and we bring that into every conversation.
The full DFW New Construction Buyer Path guide is yours at momentusdfw.com/new-construction-buyer-path. It walks you through what to know before you sign anything.
