Why be a Realtor?

Or maybe a better question:

Why take a sales job with no guaranteed income?

For me, the answer was never about houses.

It was about people and family.

When Olivia and I found out we were having a little girl, I started asking myself a question:

“How can I do what I love while being more present as a husband and father?”

Was it scary stepping into a commission-based career while working a full time job ? Absolutely.

But helping people navigate one of the biggest decisions of their lives while building a future that allows me to spend more time with my family made it worth it.

Don’t get me wrong—I love seeing beautiful homes. But the real reward isn’t the house.

It’s the people I get to help and moments like this that I get to be present for.

That’s why I’m a Realtor.

The houses are just a bonus.

Hopping on the trend… but differently.

When people think about buying a home, everyone assumes the goal is to go bigger.

But what if bigger isn’t better for you anymore?

What if less maintenance, lower bills, less stress, and more freedom actually sounds better?

Sometimes the next chapter isn’t about upgrading square footage…
it’s about upgrading peace of mind.

Downsizing isn’t giving up.
For a lot of people, it’s finally simplifying life.

If your weekends are spent cleaning rooms nobody uses…

and paying for square footage you don’t even enjoy anymore…

As I was sitting outside burning boxes, I realized something…

Fire, like most things, needs fuel to survive. If you stop feeding it, it dies. But on the flip side, if you keep adding fuel, that fire can grow massive and burn for hours… even days.

It made me think about life.

In a way, we are our own fire. We can choose to burn bright, or slowly let ourselves fade out.

Burn bright. Burn big. Never lose your spark.

Just wanted to say a big congrats to my buyers! 🎉
We weren’t able to take closing photos, but they did me one better and sent over some amazing pictures of their new home.

They’ve been settled in for about a month now, but I’m so grateful I got to help them find their forever home.
