A recent break-in at a construction site, located on GTCC's Cameron Campus, involved the theft of copper wire and other items.

‼️This serves as a good reminder to take a few extra precautions to protect your property and report any suspicious activity.‼️

Investigators say the suspects used four-wheelers and two vehicles to damage gates and get onto the property before stealing copper wire.

Realtor.com introduced its own Report Card, highlighting housing affordability and homebuilding across metro areas nationwide.

Our Greensboro-High Point metro area earned a C, with an overall score of 54.8. Its homebuilding score was slightly stronger at 57, while affordability came in lower at 52.7.

The challenges facing prospective homebuyers are not uniform across the country: some places punch above their weight class in terms of homebuilding and subsequently offer more affordable homes to buyers, while others struggle to deliver new inventory and have housing markets that remain inaccessibl...

How'd the Asheboro and encompassing Randolph County housing markets fare in August🤔🏠🔢📆🔙?

Both the county and its seat experienced different trends in several key metrics🏡🔢📈📉.

Asheboro's increase in months' supply of inventory🏡🔢📆📈, plus its decrease in median and average sales prices🏠💸📉, benefitted prospective buyers.

Randolph County's increase in percentage of list price received, median and average sales prices benefitted sellers🏡🫳💸📈.

Both Asheboro and its home county experienced increases in closed sales🏠💸🤝📈, which benefitted sellers, plus inventory of homes for sale🏡🔢📈, which benefitted prospective buyers.

A bunch of empty boxes out by the curb triggers an alarm to would-be thieves. Instead of putting boxes out in plain sight, cut them down and stuff them in trash bags.📦🚯
