Driving down Wendover when this baby got hit by the truck next to me. Obviously, not paying attention. I couldn’t help but look back and the goose was still in the road and alive. I had to pull over, not really knowing what I was going to do. As I pretty much stood in front of the poor thing, directing traffic around it and trying to figure out how I was going to get the goose out of the road. Thankfully, a lady stopped to help and had a small blanket, which she used to pick up the bird and set it in the median. We waited there until Guilford County Animal Services arrived. Hopefully, we saved this goose today. 💝
