Can you remember 2013?! Apparently I've spent 13 years in real estate, and I think I’ve earned this Labor Day off. 😂

13 years ago, I started a career that has brought more people, problems to solve, celebrations, late-night phone calls and unbelievable moments than I ever could have ever imagined.

And... I’d still choose it.

I’m incredibly grateful for every client who has trusted me, every agent I’ve gotten to work alongside, and every person who has sent someone my way because they were confident I would take care of them.

So today, in honor of Labor Day AND 13 years in real estate, I’m doing something a Realtor isn’t particularly famous for...

Taking the day off and hanging with my family by the pool! 😉

Let's be honest, there are a lot of things I could tell you about real estate, but after years of helping people buy, sell and invest in North Carolina, here’s the thing I believe most:

When it comes to real estate, you need to understand what you’re doing and why you’re doing it.

I’m Shaunna Overman, long time real estate broker and Lead Agent of The Overman Group at Howard Hanna Allen Tate. Around here, I’m the person who will tell you when I love a house, and when I absolutely "don't like it." Just ask my clients! 😂

I’ll tell you when I think you should list, when I think you should wait, and when the numbers just don’t make sense. I just told a client yesterday, my job isn’t to talk you into buying a home or just stand back while you do, my job is to help you make a good decision.

A little SOLD lately ✨

We’ve had quite a few keys changing hands around here, and we have some celebrating to catch up on. 🏡
