We are happy to share that Leah Tompkins, VP of Investor Relations, has been named partner at Dunean Capital Management! This is a testament to her leadership, vision, and unwavering commitment to our company, its values, and our investors.

Leah has been with DCM since inception and has been instrumental in building and strengthening relationships with over 250 investors, while elevating our brand through thoughtful communication and strategy. Her experience across commercial real estate investment services, coupled with her operational excellence, has consistently driven impact across the firm. Leah's passion for the industry is evident not only in her work at DCM, but also in her active leadership in the Greenville community. Dunean was proud to sponsor this year’s BMW Charity Pro-Am Presented by TD Synnex! We were especially proud to see our own, Chris Harrison, compete as an Amateur alongside Cole Hammer, baseball legend Roger Clemens and Dylan Menante. Chris finished 2nd overall in the Amateur X3 division! It was a great weekend supporting an event that brings community together while making an impact across the Upstate!

Just Closed: ±12,870 SF Retail Building in Downtown Winston-Salem, NC.
We acquired the property in October 2023. Following the acquisition, our focus was on improving leasing, management, and day-to-day operations across the property.

During our ownership, we transitioned leasing and management to a local team with an established presence in the Winston-Salem market. Throughout the hold period, we completed several renewals and rent adjustments across the building and invested additional capital into the restaurant space following a vacancy. This ultimately led to securing a new restaurant tenant on a long-term NNN lease.

The property sold in May 2026. We appreciate everyone involved throughout the acquisition, leasing, management, and sale process.

Leadership Greenville is the Greenville Chamber’s flagship ten-month leadership program focused on developing informed, connected, and community-minded leaders across Greenville County. Through an in-depth look at the opportunities and challenges impacting our community, participants collaborate on projects designed to create meaningful and lasting impact. As part of this year’s class, Leah worked alongside her team on a project to bring a community and collaboration courtyard to the students and faculty of Berea Middle School (pictured).

Last night our team attended the Southeastern Commercial Real Estate Gala, where we were awarded the 2026 Top Residential Project award! This award recognizes Anderson Lake, one of the largest projects in Anderson County in decades.

Congratulations to Travis Paul, VP of Finance at Dunean Capital Management, on his graduation from Leadership South Carolina’s Class of 2026.

LSC is South Carolina’s oldest leadership program, bringing together about 50 leaders from across the state for an eight-month program focused on the issues and communities shaping South Carolina’s future. The Class of 2026’s service project, Tree to Table, planted 250 native trees across SC State Parks in honor of America’s 250th anniversary and SC250. Every tree was sponsored at $250, raising $62,500 for the 16 SC Technical College Foundations to support students facing food insecurity.

Community leadership and stewardship sit at the core of Dunean’s work. The places we invest in are the same places we live, build, and care about. We’re proud of Travis and the entire Class of 2026.
