Those of you looking for housing this post is for you! Please be careful out there. This is a scam post that one of our vendors found on tiktok. This is a house we manage that rents for $2500. As you can see the scammer is posting it for $1300. ($1200 under market)
Questions to ask yourself before putting money down on a rental unit.
1. Price - too good to be true? It probably is.
2. If there is a rental sign in the yard. Does it match the person you are speaking to.
3. How are they getting you into the unit to view it?
4. Is the home posted on other sites under other companies/people?
Most importantly trust your gut!!! We use multiple ways to fight scammers to try and protect our potential residents, but the scammers are always working to circumvent these protections. So stay vigilant!
