This is how we spend our saturday mornings! Going out into the community, sharing our testimony and Jesus Christ. Thank you guys for making a difference in the community!

Cedar Oak Sober Living has been operating for 2 years and in that time 33 men have moved on to living in their own place, having good paying jobs, re-established with their families and children and being a positive member in our community.

33 men in 2 years, combined sobriety of 30,335 days….equivalent to 82 years!!
Did you get that?? Combined sobriety of 82 years!!! Wow!!

God gets all the Glory but the men get all the credit! This is by their decision to
get clean and stay sober!

Please keep the current guys of Cedar Oak in prayer as they continue to walk this life of sobriety 💪

Had a great day getting out meeting our neighbors and sharing what God has done in our lives! So many needs. Wanting to help better our community and be a positive reflection of Christ.

Despite the heat yesterday several of our guys went out and cut and trimmed 3 yards for others who can’t do it.
You guys are incredible and making a positive impact on our community!

Today, while heading out to meet our neighbors, the last person we visited was a single, elderly woman who lives alone and after initially refusing prayer and were walking away, asked us to come back. She said that she had recently fallen and was on the floor for 16 hours. She then noticed, on her coffee table, a red kindle, one that you can make calls from. She said that she didn’t own a red kindle but was able to get to her coffee table and call 911. She doesnt know where the kindle came from. She then said that she is dying. She starts dialysis next week and is afraid to die. From there we spent time with her, Sharing what God says about death (there is no death and that Jesus conquered death) and that “all who call upon the Lord will be saved”. She then said that she believes in a higher power and wants to believe in Jesus. We led her to Christ and shes now assured that she will see Jesus in heaven.
We will follow up with her and walk with her through her journey.

This is why we do what we do!! Our guys are amazing and making a difference in our community!!

What a great way to spend Americas 250th birthday; getting out and meeting our neighbors, grilling some mouth watering burgers and meat and watching fireworks! So thankful for those who fought for our freedom to make this such an amazing country and the freedom to choose a better life and make a difference in our community. HAPPY 4th of July!

Had a great time beating the heat and hanging out with these guys! Some of them are pretty competitive 💪 Looking forward to the next outing.

GETTING TO KNOW OUR NEIGHBORS!What an honor it is being able to get out and meet our neighbors! Some of them we already knew and some of them we get to know 😊. The rain held off long enough so that we could hand out bags with tomatoes and information about Cedar Oak, who we are and what we do.
