77459 Market Snapshot

The 77459 market is giving buyers a little more breathing room right now.

Recent public market data shows 77459 as a buyer’s market, with homes selling at about 98% of list price and a median market time around 45 days in June 2026, according to Realtor.com. Redfin also shows the area as somewhat competitive, with recent median sale prices trending lower year over year.

What this means locally:

Buyers may have more room to compare homes and negotiate. Just a little. 😉

Sellers still need strong pricing, clean presentation, and smart marketing.

👉 Well-prepared homes in desirable neighborhoods can still attract serious attention.

If you’re watching Missouri City, Sienna, Riverstone, Colony Lakes, or nearby 77459 neighborhoods, the key is not just “what’s the market doing?” It’s what’s happening in your specific price range and neighborhood.

As I’ve gotten older, I’ve thought more about the kind of words I leave behind for my children.

Not just in journals and conversations at home, but here too. On this platform. In this world.

I want my words to guide them toward wisdom, faith, resilience, kindness, and God.

This devotional journal has become part of that journey for me. A quiet place to reflect, pray, and share the lessons God is teaching me through every season of life.

As Mother’s Day approaches, I keep thinking that one of the greatest gifts we can leave our children is the wisdom gathered from our own journey.

Houston's economy is still full steam ahead!

"Metro Houston added 14,800 jobs in September ’22. That’s in line with expectations for the month. In years with strong growth, the region typically creates 10,000 to 16,000 jobs in September. Even if growth is later revised downward, ’22 will prove to be a remarkable year. Houston should end ’22 with a net gain of 130,000 or more jobs."
