It’s crazy to think that in two more days it will be 11 years since I chose to take early retirement from my career with GEHA. It was perfect timing for many reasons - I was able to spend my boys’ high school senior year volunteering and doing things like football dinner squad mom and chasing around all of their football and baseball games, my mom needed extra attention because of her health, and my daughter announced her pregnancy with the twins and I was able to help her as well.

So many new opportunities have come around since my retirement, including a gluten free business and a tasting room. I am doing quite a bit of marketing now for other companies and also for myself. I serve on a few community boards, which I really enjoy. And I love spending time with my kids and my little grands.❤️

Learning the fix and flip business has been super fun and started me in the real estate business over 10 years ago. Investing and flipping got me interested in becoming a ReMax agent and learning an entirely new industry. I’ve had a few really great years in this business. It’s an ever-changing industry for sure.

🏡 If you ever wondered if you should have a home warranty when you buy a home, I say yes!

👉🏻 It’s a good way to start out with your new property. It allows you basically a year to get to know your new place. Then you can make the decision to continue with the warranty at the end of that time period.

🤳I just received a text from a client that we just closed on their new home last month. They were super happy to have their home warranty. Their new dishwasher wasn’t draining properly and the warranty company sent someone right out and was able to get things going for them quickly.
