This is absolutely disgusting. I go to Mara a lot. And of all the animals, Cheetah are my favorite. Let me just say- they are very shy, hard to find, and it took me 3 trips before I saw one- BUT I TOTALLY BELIEVE this sacred place, like nowhere on earth- deserves to be treated with deep respect- this NOT a ZOO NOR A CONSERVATORY. This is the WILD. We are the visitors, and their welfare is the TOP priority. I am absolutely for tougher/stronger rules on safari- is it expensive? Yes- because it should be treated as a unique rare opportunity. You see what you see. Every animal is a treasure, not an exploit. And Cheetahs have become endangered due to their docile nature. Please if you go, OBEY rules, and do NOT hog space or threaten an animal’s well being. This should NEVER happen.
