I wrote the following snippet on June 25th, and it also applies to my September 2nd! “I took a little break from work this afternoon to majorly prune my roses ahead of the incoming rain and cut myself a bouquet.”

I haven’t cut myself many bouquets because I let my flowers stay pretty on the shrub instead. That also means that I have to scramble and do a lot of pruning, deadheading, and prep if rain comes our way. But these big bouquets bring me joy when I do make them! 🥰

This one is 90% Earth Angel, 5% Moonlight in Paris, and 5% The Lady Gardener.

King County has purchased a disputed Cedar River property, ending a nearly decade-long battle to prevent an asphalt plant from being built on the site.

Officials say the land along State Route 169 will be preserved for public use to protect a watershed that supplies drinking water to more than 1.6 million residents.

County officials are now seeking community input on future uses for the land, which may include habitat restoration, expanded parks, and trail connections.

I’ve been on a lowkey quest for the best burgers around the Sound, and PICK-QUICK Drive In has slid into my top spot. If you know me, you know my ultimate favorite is In-N-Out, which isn’t in the Seattle area (yet!), and this is very close to that taste and vibe.

This location is just 2 minutes away from a home my buyer client is currently in contract on. Also coincidentally, I had an Auburn listing earlier this year, and I bonded over Pick-Quick with buyers who came into my open house. They ended up becoming my clients! 🥹🥰

There are definitely spots I haven’t tried yet, like the Main Street Dairy Freeze in Sumner, and Jubilee in Tacoma, but I am curious what other spots you think I need to try?

(I’ve also been to Frisko Freeze, Shake Shake Shake, which I didn’t mention in the vid and I know they’ll come up.)
