We knocked down a chimney last weekend — but it wasn’t just brick and mortar we were removing.

It was heaviness. History. A hundred little limits that no longer belonged in this space.

We cleared the way for something new: light, breath, function, and beauty. A fresh start for the kitchen at Maggie’s Place.

There’s still so much to do. But every time we pick up a hammer or make a design choice, we’re not just renovating a building — we’re restoring what it means to gather. To belong. To build something that serves more than just ourselves.

This isn’t a flip. It’s a mission.

And this kitchen? She’s getting ready to hold stories, meals, and memories for years to come.

There are any number of hurdles that we have to face for this property. And a restoration or renovation project is not for the faint of heart. But to have dirt like this is amazing.

There’s something about seeing Maggie’s Place covered in snow that makes Jackson like such a cozy community. 🤍🏡 This house has been part of the town for over a century, and we’re so grateful to be part of its story.

🌿 A Heartfelt Pause 🌿

Dear friends and family (and if you are reading this, please know that I see you as such),

After much thought, I’ve decided to step away from social media for the next couple of months. Life has been a beautiful, busy journey lately, and I’ve realized that it’s time for me to focus on what matters most—my well-being, my family, and the special moments that can get lost in the online shuffle.

I’m taking this time to clear my mind, recharge my energy, and get back to the basics. It’s all about making space for what truly fills my heart so that when I return, I can be fully present and ready to serve my clients and community in the best way possible. 💛

Anyone that drives for Uber/Lyft or does food delivery, go ahead and mark your calendar to make it rain cash around Jackson, GA from October 17th-October 20th ish. And if you live in the area, just be prepared!!

We are going to see from all parts 'round here! Remember - with them, they bring a whole new appreciation for our town, willingness to celebrate the town and Stranger Things, and tourist money that we would not have otherwise.
