LHP team members recently gathered at Dolly’s Heartsong Resort for our annual three-day leadership conference, "Building Leaders, Building Communities"! From deep dives into AI, EQ, and fair housing to hands-on maintenance training and a powerful session on human trafficking awareness, our team stepped outside their day-to-day routines to collaborate, learn, and grow. 🏗️🎉 We have officially broken ground on Golden Age II!
It was an absolute honor to celebrate this milestone alongside incredible community and civic leaders, including local civil rights legend Reverend Harold Middlebrook, City of Knoxville - Government Mayor Indya Kincannon, our founder and chairman Phil Lawson, Tennessee Housing Development Agency's Katie Moore, and a host of other dignitaries and housing professionals.

Located at 1213 Beaman Lake Road, Golden Age II is a brand-new, four-story, 90-unit apartment community coming to East Knoxville. This 3.93-acre expansion will provide safe, modern, and highly accessible homes for low-income seniors (ages 62+) and individuals with disabilities.

A massive thank you to the Knoxville City Council, Canaan Baptist Housing Corporation, and everyone who helped turn this vision into a reality. Construction is officially underway, with doors opening in November 2027!
