is an award-winning multidisciplinary civil engineering firm working to strengthen communities across Michigan through infrastructure improvements. Our goal is to positively impact the communities in which we live and work by achieving extraordinary results for our clients, and building satisfying careers for our team. After 30 years and the opening of 2 additional offices in Grand Haven and Grand Rapids, we have greatly expanded our service offerings and client base. Last month, Eng. was proud to be a sponsor for Frontier Days in the City of Charlotte! Through our partnership with the City on various projects, we’re grateful for the opportunity to support an event that gives back to the community by helping fund initiatives such as the Charlotte Public Library and Charlotte’s public parks.

At Eng., giving back is more than a commitment, it’s part of who we are. Through our Volunteer Time Off, employees receive 8 paid hours to support a charity or cause that’s meaningful to them.

A huge congratulations to our Director of Surveying, Mike Gazella, on his retirement!

Mike has been an integral part of Eng., Inc. since 1997, dedicating nearly three decades to our team, our clients, and the work we do. His knowledge, leadership, and commitment have made a lasting impact on our company and the people fortunate enough to work alongside him.

Our team had the chance to gather this week at his favorite lunch spot, Leo's Lansing, to celebrate Mike, reflect on his many accomplishments, and wish him well as he begins this exciting new chapter.

While we’ll certainly miss having Mike around, we’re incredibly grateful for the years, expertise, and memories he’s shared with us. We can’t wait to see all that retirement has in store for him!

Happy retirement, Mike! You’ve certainly earned it!

We're excited to welcome David Randall to the Eng. team!

David graduated from Hope College with a degree in Civil Engineering and joins us as a Staff Engineer. As he transitions from student life into his career, he's looking forward to growing professionally and learning from the talented engineers around him.

When asked what drew him to Eng., David said, “The thing that appealed to me most about Eng. was the opportunity to do meaningful work in a small team environment where everybody can contribute something.”

After growing up in Boston, David is a big supporter of all things Boston sports—especially the Bruins. Outside of work, he also enjoys all forms of skiing, whether it's on a boat or a mountain.

We’re excited to share that Eng., Inc. has been selected by the City of Midland for the W. Sugnet Road Bridge Replacement project!

Bridge projects bring together many of the things our team enjoys most — thoughtful infrastructure design, water resources considerations, coordination with multiple stakeholders, and ultimately creating a safer, more reliable connection for the community.

We’re grateful to the City of Midland for the opportunity and the trust placed in our team, and we look forward to getting to work.

Progress is taking shape on a new 3-mile pathway project in the City of Portage!

Recent work has included asphalt paving and construction of the new boardwalk, two very different pieces that together create a safe, accessible connection for the community.

Eng., Inc. is proud to have provided the engineering design for the project and to continue supporting the City through construction oversight.

There’s something especially rewarding about seeing a project move from plans on paper to infrastructure people will be able to enjoy for years to come.

Projects like this reflect what drives us every day. Pride in delivering quality work, Passion for improving the communities we serve, and Performance that keeps projects moving forward.
