Before Las Vegas became the city we know today, it was a small town of just 10,000 people.

My family’s roots here go back to the 1930s, when both sets of my grandparents moved to Las Vegas for work. One helped lay power lines, the other drove buses, and together they built a life in a city that was just getting started.

One small home on 8th Street became the place where generations of our family grew up.

Being a fourth-generation Las Vegas local means more than just knowing this city. It means having a family history that's grown right alongside it.
