Tell me you're from Las Vegas without telling me you're from Las Vegas.
I'll go first.
1️⃣ You think a 20-minute drive is far.
"That's all the way across town."
2️⃣ You judge distance by time, not miles.
"It's only 15 minutes away."
3️⃣ You use casinos as landmarks.
"Turn left at Red Rock, then keep going past Durango."
4️⃣ You know at least three ways to avoid Las Vegas Boulevard.
And you're convinced your route is the best one.
5️⃣ You schedule your life around road construction and F1.
Certain roads simply don't exist for part of the year.
6️⃣ You refuse to go near the Strip on a holiday weekend.
Not because you can't.
Because you've learned.
7️⃣ You can tell what side of town someone lives on by where they grocery shop.
Summerlin people know.
8️⃣ You hear someone say they're visiting Vegas and immediately ask:
"Are you staying on the Strip or actually in Vegas?"
9️⃣ You've had a conversation about which Costco is the best Costco.
And it got surprisingly competitive.
🔟 You own patio furniture that sits untouched for three months every summer.
