Hope Center HOPE STARTS HERE. The Hope Center is Lexington’s leading resource for recovery, shelter, housing, and support. That’s true, but it’s so much more.

We serve those facing addiction, homelessness, and crisis with dignity and hope. Since 1993, the Hope Center’s mission has been to care for those experiencing homelessness, substance use disorder, and mental illness by providing life-sustaining and life-rebuilding services that are comprehensive and address underlying causes. The Hope Center is widely known as a homeless shelter. It’s not enough t

o only provide the homeless in our community with a place to get off the street; we must also provide them with the tools they need to stay off the street. The root causes of homelessness vary widely. That is why our programs are so important. Each person who enters our doors is valuable and unique. Our goal is to provide each one with the tools they need to rebuild their lives.

At One Parent Scholar House, we provide more than affordable housing. We provide encouragement on difficult days, support through life's challenges, and a community that genuinely cares. We celebrate academic milestones, cheer on personal victories, and help parents navigate the journey toward a college degree, career advancement, and long-term stability.

Our team takes the time to know each resident, understand their goals, and help connect them with the resources they need to succeed. Because when a parent succeeds, an entire family benefits.

The women in our program are resilient, determined, and inspiring. We're honored to be part of their story and to help create opportunities that can impact generations to come.
