Yesterday was our Q1 Top Performers Breakfast and I was lucky enough to be invited. It was held at Froggy's French Café in Highwood, which made it even more fun because I grew up in nearby Deerfield and honestly haven’t spent much time back in Highwood in years.

Pretty sure the first time I ever paid for a drink at a bar🍺was at The Wooden Nickel, so driving around town afterward brought back a lot of memories. I spent a little time seeing what’s changed, what’s still there, and just appreciating how familiar places can still feel years later.

Some of my old favorites are gone, which made me feel approximately 97 years old. (Anyone remember Two Guys from Italy or Shrimp Walk?)

It was nice seeing some of the longtime places still there. Funny how certain towns can instantly bring you right back to a completely different stage of life!
