As managing broker he led a 25 agent real estate team who specialize in residential real estate in Lake County Illinois. He supervised office operations, trains, mentors and coached his agents by assisting them with sales production and business growth. In addition to his management role he works with clients that he has worked with in the past and those that have been personally referred to him. Financing, negotiations, home inspections and appraisals, to just name a few, have changed over the years and it is necessary to explain these processes to the new and seasoned home buyer. In addition to assisting the buyer who plans to live in their home Jackson’s extensive knowledge of investment property is an asset when helping real estate investors expand their portfolio. Jackson takes the time to do the financial analysis needed to determine if a property is a good investment. He provides his clients with the appropriate cash flow and return on investment analysis to assist his clients in their decision making process. When the investor client needs to lease the property to attract tenants Jackson aggressively markets his rental listings and provides the necessary due diligence such as credit and background checks, inquiries to employers and previous land lords and application review. Jackson is further able to provide a seamless process for his investor clients by referring their property management needs to MFPM (Maintenance free Property Management.) This company handles all of the maintenance coordination and rental collection needs of the property investor. As a partner and one of the board or directors of this company he is able to assure that the high level of customer service in continually maintained. Jackson’s education includes a bachelor’s degree from Illinois State University, a Managing Brokers Real Estate License in Illinois and Wisconsin, a GRI (Graduate of the Real Estate Institute) designation and the SFR (Short Sale Foreclosure Resource) certification. Jackson is a member of the professional organizations NAR (National Association of Realtors), IAR (Illinois Association of Realtors), WAR (Wisconsin Association of Realtors), MORE (Main Street Organization of Realtors), and LARA (Lakes Region Realtor Association.) He has served on the Board of Directors for the Lake County Association of Realtors (Currently merged with MORE) Served as Chairman of the Legislative and Realtor Political Action Committee and has been a panel member of the Professional Standards Committee. He received the Associate Realtor of the year award in 2000. On a personal note Jackson has been Past President of the Lambda Chi Alpha Alumni Association and the Past President of BNI (Business Networking International. The Philanthropies he supports are Shriners Hospital for Children, Habitat for Humanity and the KoenigRubloff Foundation. Jackson is a long time Lake County resident who currently lives in Green Oaks with his wife Dorie, daughters Maree and Emily and son Jackson.
