Next Step Network and the Berrytown Community Land Trust are hosting a Homeownership Preparation Event on Saturday, April 18, 2026, from 1–3 PM ET at First Baptist Church, 11500 LaGrange Road, Louisville, KY 40223.

This free event is designed to help potential buyers prepare for an exciting new opportunity right here in Berrytown: The Roots at Berrytown — a community of 22 to 32 solar-ready CrossMod® homes affordably priced for first-time buyers, first responders, teachers, and essential workers.

Attendees will have the chance to:
• Learn about the history of Berrytown and the role of the Berrytown Community Land Trust
• Walk through the 6-Step Homebuyer Readiness Pathway
• Discover down payment assistance and financing options
• Learn how to estimate monthly home payments
• Get a first look at plans for The Roots at Berrytown community
• Speak one-on-one with lenders, housing counselors, and down payment assistance providers
