Nick and Cindy have Real Estate experience in the Tampa Bay area since 2005. They have completed over 1,100 Real Estate Transactions totaling more than $170 million in sales. Nick and Cindy have earned the RE/MAX status of Hall of Fame in 2011 and the Lifetime Achievement Award. Nick and Cindy met and were married in 1987 while they were both stationed in Aschaffenburg, Germany, serving in the 3rd Infantry Division. As soldiers, Nick, and Cindy each completed Drill Sergeant School and served as Drill Sergeants, United States Army Airborne School and Nick also completed Air Assault School. Nick and Cindy Relocated to the Tampa Bay area in 1998 where Nick was assigned to University of South Florida as an ROTC Instructor. Nick and Cindy have relocated their family more 25 times over the years. They have resided in Germany, Korea, Georgia, South Carolina, Kansas, and Florida. They have one son, Nicholas, a daughter-in-law, Lauren, a boxer grand-dog named Calvin and two chihuahua sisters named Ella and Bella. Nick grew up in Springfield/Chicopee, Massachusetts and joined the Army when he was 17 years old. Nick excels in technology and enjoys sharpening his drone and photography skills while building the business website and YouTube channel. Cindy grew up in West Palm Beach, Florida and joined the Army when she was 22 years old. Cindy graduated from college with her bachelor’s degree in business management in 2010. Cindy is an avid reader and enjoys nature, as well as cooking and decorating her home. Nick and Cindy value home-ownership and love working in the Real Estate Profession. Nick and Cindy bought their first home in Columbus, Georgia in 1989, thereafter due to many relocations’ home-ownership was not always a possibility while serving in the military. Many times, renting was the only option. Nick and Cindy always dreamed of someday retiring from the United States Army and owning a home in Florida. There's more to an HOA than the monthly fee.
When you're considering a home or condo within an association, understand what you're financially joining.
Questions worth asking include:
• How are the reserves funded?
• Are major projects planned?
• Have there been recent special assessments?
• What does the association's insurance look like?
• Is there pending litigation?
• How have dues changed?
• Are additional assessments being discussed?
An HOA can provide tremendous value.
But $200 a month versus $400 a month tells you very little by itself.
