Every summer, our family comes back to Baker Lake to camp and fish the sockeye run. And every summer, I’m reminded that some of the most incredible places are practically in our own backyard. 💙

Just an hour and a half from Bellingham, Baker Lake is one of those places that almost doesn’t feel real.

The turquoise-blue water in the lagoon. Early mornings when the lake is completely still. Days spent fishing, swimming, and hanging around camp. And then that moment when the sun comes up, the clouds clear, and Mt. Baker finally shows herself. ✨

It’s magic.

There are so many reasons I love living in this corner of Washington, but having places like this close enough to become part of our family’s summer traditions is pretty high on the list.

Well… this was supposed to be a JUST LISTED post. 😏
