Please help us welcome Gina Foust Jenkins, our newest Mississippi Realtor®, to the SWAPA Team.

Born and raised in Clarksdale, Mississippi, Gina is proud to call the Mississippi Delta home. After graduating from Delta State University and The University of Mississippi, Gina has spent most of her life and career as a speech-language pathologist serving children with communicative disorders while continuing her passion for learning and personal growth. Most recently, she earned her doctoral degree from Delta State in Higher Education.

Gina married Lane Jenkins in 1998, and they have two children: Mary Kinsley, a physical therapist at Bolivar Medical Center, and Carson, a junior at Mississippi State University. In 2017, Gina joined the faculty at Delta State to train future speech-language pathologists.

Gina recently earned her Mississippi real estate license and is excited to help clients navigate the buying and selling process with confidence. Her lifelong interest in home and interior design gives her a unique appreciation for the qualities that make a house feel like home, while her love of learning allows her to stay informed about market trends and opportunities that can benefit clients.

ARC & PLC enrollment is open.

The deadline to make your 2026 ARC or PLC election is December 11, 2026, and the 2027 election deadline is March 15. Missing the deadline means missing out on coverage for that crop year.

Choosing between ARC and PLC isn’t always simple. The right fit depends on your crops, your base acres, and what prices and yields look like for your farm. Newly allocated base acres also take effect starting with 2026, so it’s worth taking a fresh look even if you’ve enrolled before.
