Outdoor Spring Cleaning started on our house last weekend!!🌿🌳
The weather was very nice so we got a lot done!!🙌🏽
Who’s tackling the yard this weekend? Here are 3 projects to get you started:
1. Yard & Garden Cleanup
Remove Debris: Rake up leaves, twigs, and debris from the lawn and garden beds.
Prepare Beds: W**d, edge garden beds, and apply fresh mulch for moisture retention.
Prune Plants: Trim dead branches from shrubs and trees, and cut back perennials.
Lawn Care: Reseed dead patches of grass and aerate the lawn.
2. Exterior Home Maintenance
Clean Gutters: Clean out debris and ensure downspouts direct water away from the foundation.
Power Wash: Clean siding, walkways, and driveways to remove mold and grime.
Window and Door Care: Wash exterior windows and doors, and inspect screens for damage.
Fence and Deck: Inspect for damage, tighten loose boards/screws, and reseal if necessary.
3. Patio, Deck & Furniture
Furniture Care: Scrub outdoor furniture with mild soap and water, and wash cushions.
Clean Surfaces: Pressure wash or scrub patios and decks.
Lighting: Clean exterior light fixtures and replace dead bulbs.
Check Accessories: Clean outdoor rugs, umbrellas, and curtains.
