The communities where I live and sell real estate feel like small towns...Having been raised in a small town in Kern County, I appreciate the relationships that are formed, the organizations in which we participate, and the charities we support. Daddy taught us by example that "You spend your money where you make it!" As the Superintendent of Schools, he always bought the family car from one of two auto dealerships in town, bought his suits and ties at one of two men's stores on Main Street, and my parents were generous with "their time, treasure and talent." I've chosen to be involved in the LAX Coastal Chamber of Commerce, and have proudly chaired the Protectors Week event when we acknowledge the first responders in our community. My Broker, Estate Properties, has a 40 year relationship supporting Children's Hospital Los Angeles...and I do my part by having hosted for 22 years a Children's Hospital Toy Drive (and Animal Shelter Collection) each December. AMCS-Airport Marina Counseling Service, providing low cost/free mental health support for over 60 years, and Helen's Room, a support organization for women with cancer also receive my financial support.

We make a living with what we earn..We make a LIFE by what we give!

Early in my career, I had the privilege of learning from John Douglas — one of the best in the business. His lesson has stayed with me ever since: do the right thing, always.

Even if it means disclosing something that could cost you a deal.

You cannot let selfishness guide your decisions when a client is trusting you. And if a transaction falls apart because of your honesty? That’s okay.

What’s never okay is compromising your integrity.
