Why I Make a Great Agent:
I have a diverse background in many aspects of real estate. From bank management, to being a licensed mortgage and insurance broker, I’ve done home and septic inspections, and much more. I’ve owned several businesses such as a Sears Hometown Store selling and repairing appliances, lawn and garden equipment, etc.. I also started a small cleaning company in Tampa, FL focusi
ng on residential and commercial floor cleaning and commercial janitorial services. When it comes to listing or buying a property, I have a unique knowledge and understanding of many of the important factors to consider. My Family:
I grew up in the very blue collar town of Lansing, MI in the heart of the rust belt. I have 7 brothers who all still live in the MidWest. As a young adult I relocated to Orlando, FL where I met my wife Jennifer. She grew up in Gilford, so before we married, we spent the summer here to give me a chance to meet her family. I absolutely fell in love with the Lakes Region, so after we married in October of 2000, we relocated to Meredith and have spent the lion's share of the past 20 years here. We did take a short break to live in Tampa and Orlando for a few years, but returned to the Lakes Region in 2018. We currently reside in Gilford with our 5 children ages 2 to 17. My Kids attend Gilford schools and have been in many theater productions at the Winni Playhouse in Meredith, as well as many school plays. They all really enjoy theater. I’ve been a musician most of my life and play as time allows. But with 5 kids, time doesn’t allow very often anymore. My Wife has been a Labor and Delivery Nurse for nearly 20 years and was an actress/producer before that. To round it off, we have 2 dogs, 2 hamsters, 3 pet birds, and 4 chickens. It’s like the movie “We bought a Zoo” but instead of a lion we got a chihuahua named Tinkerbell. The Things We Love:
In the winter we enjoy skiing and snowboarding at Gunstock, which is literally in our backyard. But one of the great things about NH is that it has so many great mountains, so we try to get to as many as we can during the season. When it comes to outdoor winter fun though, nothing beats a sweet day of sledding at the old outing club which we follow up with some hot chocolate! We also try to squeeze in some ice fishing, ice skating, and snowman making too! During the summer we enjoy cooling off at Gilford beach, one of the best beaches on Winnipesaukee, or heading to one of the many ice cream stands for a cool treat. We spend a lot of time at storyland, the playground, the park, playing sports, going on picnics. We love to be outside as much as possible in the summer. In the fall we love to go hiking up the many trails throughout the Lakes Region and often make the short trip up to Franconia Notch where we climb up to the Lonesome Lake AMC Hut to write stories in the annual journals they keep up there. It’s a real hidden gem! And, NH is the only state with active AMC huts left on the Appalachian Trail! We also love corn mazes and cider, cooking chili and cornbread, but sometimes we just hang out in the backyard around the fire pit and cook hotdogs and s’mores! Especially on those cool fall nights! How I Give Back:
I’ve been on the United Way CA$H coalition and the Wealth for All program as a mentor. I’ve been a member of the Chamber of Commerce as well as volunteered for the United Way Day of Caring. During my time in Florida I served as a Business Advisory Council member at Crooms Academy, as well as volunteering as a teacher for Junior Achievement, specializing in finance. I helped found a homeless outreach in Tampa, FL focusing on feeding and befriending the homeless population in the city. We wanted to come alongside them and not just throw food and clothing at them. We set up tables and sat down to eat as a family. We served over 150 people every week. We built some great relationships too which allowed us to help many folks get off the streets. It’s still active to this day. Currently my wife and I are working on an Adoption and Foster Care ministry to help families learn about how they can become foster or adoptive families or create resources to make it easier for others that might not feel prepared. This is our real passion and focus as the need is great but the hands are few. Our Goal is to have a safe home for every child in need. Thank you for taking the time to read about me. I look forward to serving you with the same passion and care that I put into everything I do.
