We’re turning an unexpected change of plans into something extra for MAACtoberfest!

Along with live German music, games, German and local food, beer and family fun, we’re working to bring some additional first responder experiences to the weekend as well.

Following the cancellation of FRADD, several departments have expressed interest in joining us at MAACtoberfest, and UCAN is planning to bring its helicopter to campus on Sunday. We’re still working through the details, but we’re exploring opportunities for additional vehicles, demonstrations and other elements that will bring a little bit of FRADD into the weekend.

We know many people were looking forward to FRADD, so we’re excited to give the community another chance to spend time with some of the first responders and agencies that make events like it so special.
