☀️ Attention skygazers! The first solar eclipse of the year is coming 👇🏻

On March 29, skywatchers in parts of the Northern Hemisphere will be treated to a partial solar eclipse, where the Moon will take a noticeable bite out of the Sun. While not a total eclipse, this celestial event still offers a beautiful and dramatic sight — if you're in the right place at the right time.

🌍 Where It’s Visible:
This eclipse will be visible at sunrise and shortly after from parts of North America, especially in northern Quebec, Greenland, Iceland, and much of Europe and northwest Africa. As the Sun climbs higher in the morning sky, the eclipse will become easier to see in these areas.

🌑 The Best View:
The maximum eclipse, where 93% of the Sun will be covered, happens near Akulivik, an Inuit village in northern Quebec, Canada — about 1,150 miles (1,850 km) north of Montreal. The closer you are to Akulivik, the more dramatic the eclipse will be.

🔭 Viewing Tips:
Even during a partial eclipse, never look directly at the Sun without proper eye protection. Use certified solar eclipse glasses or indirect viewing methods like a pinhole projector.
