Cold Weather Reminder from MGL Properties ❄️

With current cold temperatures and the possibility of winter-related power outages, we want to share a few helpful tips to keep you safe and protect your home:

If power goes out:
• Keep phones and battery packs charged
• Use flashlights instead of candles
• Layer up indoors - blankets & hats are important
• Close off unused rooms to keep heat in
• NEVER use grills, ovens, or generators indoors

Protect your plumbing:
• Let faucets drip during extreme cold
• Open cabinet doors under sinks to allow warm air in

Pets & neighbors:
• Bring pets indoors - avoid leaving pets outside
• Check on neighbors & anyone who relies on medical equipment
