🏡 Buying a home? Here are a few things I want you to avoid after applying for your mortgage.

Once you’re under contract, the goal is to keep everything as consistent and clean as possible while we work toward closing.

A few big ones:

🩵 Don’t deposit large amounts of cash without talking to your lender first.
🩵 Don’t change bank accounts.
🩵 Don’t co sign for someone else’s loan.
🩵 Don’t apply for new credit or close existing credit accounts.
🩵 And most importantly, when in doubt, call your lender before you make a financial move.

Even something that seems completely harmless can create additional questions, documentation or delays during the loan process.
