If you’re considering a move to Montgomery, don’t start by scrolling Zillow. There are a few questions you need to answer first:

1. What do you want your life here to look like?
Walkable neighborhood streets? A little more land? Great schools nearby? Dinner and drinks around the corner? A big backyard for the kids and dogs? Maybe a little bit of everything.

2. Where do you actually want to live?
Old Cloverdale? Midtown? East Montgomery? Pike Road? One of Montgomery’s established neighborhoods—or somewhere with a little more room to spread out?

Knowing you’re moving to “Montgomery” is one thing. Knowing which part of the River Region will actually feel like home is another.

3. What are your non-negotiables?
Think beyond bedrooms and bathrooms. Commute, schools, lot size, neighborhood feel, new construction vs. established, walkability, and proximity to the places your family will spend the most time.

4. What does your budget look like here?
Your budget may go further—or look completely different—than you expect. One of the first things I help relocation buyers understand is what their budget can realistically buy in different areas of Montgomery and the River Region.

5. What are you hoping to gain by moving here?
More space? A stronger sense of community? A shorter commute? A place to raise your family? Being closer to family? A fresh start?

Closing day is always a great day! But some closings just mean a little more.

This one was especially meaningful to me because these sellers aren’t just clients, they are dear friends who have become such an important part of my life over the years. They are people I truly believe the Lord placed in my life years ago for a very special reason.

Over the years, Kim and Glenn have encouraged me in more ways than they probably even realize. They have encouraged me in my faith, challenged me to be a better parent, supported me professionally, and simply been the kind of friends who make an impact on your life.

Glenn and I have also had the opportunity to work together many times over the years, with him on the lending side and me on the real estate side, which made it even more meaningful when he and Kim trusted me with the sale of their own home.

When people who know this business & know so many wonderful Realtors, choose you to represent them, you don’t take that lightly. I certainly didn’t. It was truly a privilege and an honor to represent them and their beautiful Twin Gables home.

I’m incredibly grateful for their trust, their friendship, their encouragement, and all the ways God has intertwined our lives over the years.

Closing day is always a great day!

There’s something extra special about a closing that brings things full circle. 🤍

A few years ago, I had the privilege of helping these sweet clients purchase their home here in Montgomery. Today, I was honored to sit beside them at the closing table once again. This time as they sold that same home and prepared for a new chapter.

They’re heading back to the Mobile area, where they’re originally from, and best of all, back home to be closer to their children.

One of my favorite parts of real estate is that sometimes a client relationship doesn’t end at the closing table. Years later, you get the call again. And there’s no greater compliment than being trusted to help a second time.

I’m so grateful to have been a small part of their Montgomery chapter and couldn’t be happier for them as they head home to family and all that’s ahead.
