Last week, CTC spoke with Sam of Helping Hand of Myrtle Beach, who shared some of the pantry’s most-needed items:
- Pasta and pasta sauce
- Rice
- Soup
- Ramen noodles
- Chef Boyardee
- Cereal and oatmeal
- Holiday meal items (turkeys, hams, etc.)

Helping Hand of Myrtle Beach is located at 1411 Mr. Joe White Avenue, and donations are accepted Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–3:30 PM.

Last week, our team visited Helping Hand of Myrtle Beach and donated 303 pounds of food in support of their annual Pack the Pantry event!

During our visit, we had the opportunity to tour their facility and connect with some incredible volunteers who shared more about the organization’s mission and how we can continue supporting their efforts in our community.

As the holiday season approaches, we encourage everyone to give back and help make a difference for local families in need. Every donation counts! Some of the pantry’s most-needed items include:
- Pasta and pasta sauce

True or False: You only need to change your HVAC filter once a year...
False! Standard HVAC filters should be changed every 30-90 days, or when visually dirty. If you have pets, or your home is unusually dusty, you may need to check and change your filter more often.

If you're looking to improve your indoor air quality and change your filter less frequently, you can look for pleated filters, high-MERV filters, or ask us about installing a media filter in your home.
